Dannielle is a Senior Associate and has practiced exclusively in family law since her admission in January 2007. Dannielle has always had a passion for family law and even commenced work experience in family law firms in her senior years of education and then took back up work experience in family law firms as part of her university studies. Dannielle studied at Griffith University on the Gold Coast and obtained a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) in 2006. Dannielle completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2006 and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in early 2007. Dannielle practiced at boutique law firms on both the Gold Coast and in Brisbane before operating her own practice from 2011-2016. Dannielle returned to work in private practice in 2016 and joined the ranks here at Collective Family Law Group in mid-2019 bringing with her a wealth of experience in all facets of family law.
Dannielle has a passion for helping families resolve their legal disputes and has a drive for delivering quality legal advice for people from all different backgrounds. Dannielle’s dual degree in psychology ignites her passion to help people in one of the most challenging times of their lives and equips her with qualified knowledge and understanding of human behaviours and the effects of separation on parents and children. Dannielle is a no-nonsense lawyer who is competent in negotiating matters to save parties the turmoil of contested litigation. Not one to shy away from an argument however Dannielle also has exceptional advocacy skills in the Courtroom. Dannielle is proficient in mediation, negotiations, interim hearings, contested trials, and everything in between.
When Dannielle is not with her head in her files, attending mediations or in Court, Dannielle spends her spare time fussing over her two adorable Shih Tzu’s and opens her home to sit other puppies while their families are on holidays. If the weekend doesn’t revolve around puppies then it is usually spent in her MDC caravan at any random off-grid location she can find (her Shih Tzu’s in tow of course!).
